When I was a kid I didn’t know places like LA and that culture existed. Then when I about 12 I heard Low Rider and realized I was a blue collar rube in a small town and had no fucking idea. I didn’t even know kids had the ice cream man in their neighborhood or could just walk to 7-11 for a slurpee.
