Why do the police have weapons of war? The dazzler will have to punt on this one as it is the start of an honest conversation. Same with why do private security have weapons of war to protect their clients? If the police need them so does the general public which the police and private security won't defend.

So, hands and clubs and hammers kill more than twice as many people as "rifles" in the US, and they are supposedly the problem. The actual problem is the cultural decline in the US since the War on Poverty and the disintegration of the nuclear family. 2019 the latest firearm data from the FBI says rifles, that's all rifles, accounted for 364 murders. They don't split the rifle data. That out of 13,927 homicides. That's 2.9% for ALL rifles. Usually so called assault weapons are 1% or less.

In contrast personal weapons IE: hands and feet killed 600 people. Maybe we should outlaw those as they're nearly twice as deadly as assault weapons and never have to be reloaded!

This is all about disarming the population because the government wants to do shit we would shoot them for!
