Tesla charging stations are a boon for the poors. How can anyone be against this?

No chance this version of electric vehicles are the final answer. Let the private sector sort it out.

It's definitely needed, but let the rich fucks pay for it.

It will cost way more than 8 billion. Think more like 500 billion. Then toss in the grifting and the rich rats and their friends who will get millions just for knowing a liberal congressman, and this thing will balloon real quick to a trillion bucks.

The land purchases alone will be billions and billions of dollars. Paving ain't cheap. Putting in the power lines, maintaining these power stations, etc.

We all know it will cost way more than 8 billion. Think more like 500 billion. Then toss in the grifting and the rich rats and their friends who will get millions just for knowing a liberal congressman, and this thing will balloon real quick to well over a trillion bucks.

The land purchases alone will be billions and billions of dollars. Paving ain't cheap. Putting in the power lines, maintaining these power stations, etc. You clearly have to plan for having more power stops than fewer with more power stations, so that is going to jack this thing well past any amount we have ever imagined.

Right now it is about $30.00 for a full charge. How much will it be when states like CA start whining about the power grid? What taxes will they toss on top of that? I like the $30 but supply and demand will be taken out of the equation. Taxes will continue to go up and there will never be a downward market forced decrease. I could easily see the rat governments jacking that price up to $50.00 a charge which will only take one person in one sedan 250 miles.

How about remote locations where there are a 100 miles between potential charging stations. Who is going to be there to rescue people when they run out of energy. The batteries get depleted faster when driving over mountain passes or when carrying more weight. Are we going to have a million gas powered Hero Trucks running all over to rescue families that ran out of power because there was no place to get a charge when their batteries didn't last as long as they were supposed to?

My friends Tesla just quit working one day. He was fucked. It took a month and it cost him $11,000. Yes, you read that right, $11,000.

Long haul trucks. Ocean going ships.

I am all for affordable and comfortable electric vehicles, but anytime it is the government forcing its citizens to bend to their will, you know the little people are fucked. You also know that the rich rats will get richer and life will get tougher for those not in the socialist hierarchy.

The private sector needs to be leading this fight. Everything the government touches while under socialist rule turns to shit. Its liberal ideology and feelings vs reality.

This strong armed tactic to price families out of using fossil fuels when the country and its infrastructure are decades away from being ready to change over is a clear and present disaster in the making.

There won’t be any charging stations or shift to EVs

It’s all a grift to further separate the elite and destroy the middle class - punishing debt that causes the collapse of the country.

Sweet infrastructure in Venezuela or Cuba? No.

All they have to do to prevent us from moving about is turn them off. Anyone ever think of that? Full government control over personal freedom of movement. That's what these fucks are thinking!

Let California's bullet train from sac to Fresno be the blueprint of modern government efficiency.

Only about 100 billion over budget and nowhere close to completion.

Also was pitched as an SF to LA project. The biggest over promise/under deliver heist of my lifetime.

Where oh where did all the money go?

They have even exited initiation of the project. It will never be completed. It's just a casino at this point.

It's going exactly to plan. As I've been saying we are now firmly entrenched in the African third word kleptocracy phase of our corruption and decline. The road and or bridge never even gets built and all the money is stolen.

Has anyone figured out where the $800 billion for “shovel ready projects” went? Better yet, have they asked?

We got a pretty kick ass deer walking overpass out of it near my house. Also some turtle tunnels in Lake Washington.

We got them to spend $100m to fight over the design of the I5 bridge then shelve it for 12 years

I saw some sweet signs that were erected on the side of the freeway telling me that an off ramp that still hasn't been completed was being paid for by Obama's stimulus package. And shortly after that sign was put up the California state government put up another sign telling me the gas tax increase that has us paying the highest gas tax in the country is responsible for "fixing" our roads and bridges that never ever seem to get fixed. But the amount of trash, garbage and homeless living next to the freeway is way up. So they're doing something right.
