The best JL song (and Beatles song) is Norwegian Wood and it’s not really that close.

This always cracks me up. Damone really hates that song.

It's a nice melody. The lyrics are pretty weak. I get the hate.

Oh yes, that’s clearly Ringo drums at the end.

He was an underrated drummer in my view. Yes, he wasn’t critical to their success so much as the other three but was very good at his craft.

FO rowpeterpuffer. I'm Looking Through You is the best song on that album.

I’ve got it at about 5th in my Rubber Soul power rankings. Some stiff competition here.

I just did a shootout of Dear Prudence off my 1987 Stereo White Album CD vs the 2014 Mono Vinyl White Album. No contest of course.

Yellow Submarine is a banger too. I think that’s a Ringo song. I learned it in elementary school choir and can still sing every word.

The only people who cling to the nonsense se about Ringo are people who don't listen and/or don't know shit about drumming. He's down in the mix a lot and goes unnoticed in many songs. That contributes to it.

I learned it in first grade at Sunset Elementary. I thought it was subpar then and I think so now.

I also won the first grade spelling bee and then had to go against all the other grade winners in front of the school, grades 1-6. I finished 5th. Yes I know, cool story bro.

It’s a great song. As an atheist fag I like the No heaven bit.

But it’s cliche AF and overplayed.

Yellow Sunmarine is not a banger Roadie. My sarcasm detector was triggered.

I like it. It’s not I am the Walrus, but it’s a decent song.

I liked it when celebrities sang it at the beginning of Covid. It was it after George Floyd? I can’t remember.

    It helped heal the nation.
Probably both. Will Ferrell joined in. I didn't know he was a virtue signaling dumbass until I saw that.

When I was in 6th Grade, they loaded up us little rednecks up and took us to a nature encounter camp at Ft. Flagler for a week. Crossing the old Hood Canal Bridge, there was actually a yellow submarine moving north in the water. I have no idea what or whose it was, but I got some snaps of it on my old Kodak 110.
