I just love how this dementia patient focused on black Americans when 18 of the 19 killed were Hispanic, and the other was white. Your friend needs to grow up unless he is still living in the hood. My black neighbor grew up in South Central and is happy as a clam living in safe upper middle class white neighborhood. Moved in in September and by the first week of October had the Clark Griswold Halloween display award winner for the neighborhood. I asked him why he went so over the top and he said that he grew up with no holiday displays for anything because everything would be stolen or vandalized and that he never could go trick or treating and that he had a lot of catching up to do. We cut him slack and took him off the kill list.
