Not sure how many folks outside Atlanta remember two college students being tased and arrested during the mostly peaceful riots of 2020. The four second video showed cops breaking the window and pulling the couple from the car. The brave students, who weren't doing anything wrong and were complying the entire time, talked about how scared they were, the shame they felt, and the trust that was lost. Former Mayor Bottoms fired the cops (why have due process these days) and the next morning issued an apology to the couple and to the city for mis treatment from the Atl po po.
Of course- it was all complete bs- and an investigation showed the police were well within their rights to use the force they did. But hey, why let the truth bother you when can elicit sympathy and then set up a gofundme?

The thing that bothers me here is the misuse of power by liberals. Liberals who didn't even take the time to listen to the facts. They are in charge and by God they are going to govern by FEELINGS.
They have ruined the careers of those officers and I can guarantee you that not one of them feels one bit of remorse.
Lie about the original event
Looks for sympathy (or campaign donation)
Leak small amount of video to "prove" mistreatment
Lie again when complete video is exposed
Surround yourself with enablers, family, etc and blame the cops
Watch the entire 14 minute video - how anyone could say the cop was in the wrong is beyond me. Don't worry- the councilman still has his grifting job.

I watched an interview with one of his family members a couple years ago after the video had been released. She sat right in front of the camera and lied. Said she saw nothing in the video that changed her mind at all. The police were at fault. That they were racist and that they should be fired.
Unbelieveable.
