No Missouri… No problem

Waiting for that rug pull
-
He'll get a bigger offer somewhere. We'll find out just how good of a recruiter Shep really is.
-
It looks like he's probably already committed...to holding onto a UW offer for a while and shopping around. Hopefully it's a real commit, but I'm in "prove it" mode.
-
how much money did he get?
rather, what was the last known firm offer? -
Enough to hold him until something better comes alonganimate said:how much money did he get?

Nice addition to the class.
-
I'm just glad the women's studies pamphlets and coupons were enough to land this 4 star!
-
Good job by Shepard to close him on his visit.
-
Good. Now let's see another coach beside Shepherd close a blue chip.

Considering he had no west coast connections before taking the job, I would say he's off to a solid start along with Inge, who has been putting in work. The LB and WR class should be good this year.JoeEDangerously said:

Oregon taking Adams off our hands is still the best thing to have happen this whole off-season second only to jimmy getting fired. Low bar, but still.
Imagine how bad Adams would be recruiting and coaching without NIL helping this staff. -
It's not over until he graduates.
-
What is odd is that he is doing really well at Oregon. Seen a few posts touting his recruiting prowess. Development is yet to be seen. I thought it was a bad hire at the time. Maybe too early to tell.OreDawg said:Oregon taking Adams off our hands is still the best thing to have happen this whole off-season second only to jimmy getting fired. Low bar, but still.

Adams had a great recruiting class the year he was with Pete. Lake's leadership made everyone's recruiting go to shit.dOgmaster said:

Nevertheless, Adams was dogshit as a coach/developer -
I don’t know if he gets stolen
I see good route running, high pointing, and contested catch ability
He doesn’t strike me as an elite athlete between his stride and inability to create straight line separation -
Did you know he coached Cooper Kupp?bananasnblondes said:

It’s pretty hard to say he didn’t develop when the coach and OC were so terrible. I want to see his development when given a good scheme and a coach that creates a good culture.bananasnblondes said:

There were concerning signs. Bigger, faster receivers weren't able to pass short guys with middling speed (Fuller, Baccellia, Pounds), inconsistent hands, and piss poor effort running routes and blocking when they weren't the primaries. Drops, in particular, were a never ending issue throughout. McMillan and Odunze, two of the most physically talented receivers I've ever seen recruited to UW, and mostly languished through two years with him.lawsandl said:

So yeah, nobody really knows for sure, but he's a duck now so he has always sucked.
