    I always hear Jerry Garcia in my head when i thunk of noodling. Not a fan. A slow build works as long as it builds to something (Shine on You Crazy Diamond, for example). I never heard the Dead build to much of anything other than more noodling though.

    I love the early Allman Brothers and they did some jamming but I don't think it ever turned into noodling.
