I’m counting on you all to give me the perfect solution… I now live in a wooded paradise but need the Solution for bugs and flies… I’ve said this before but in this case price is no object; this is like offering 10,000 for escort service, hoping for a perfect outcome
So there are various combo solutions I have read about… coquettish solar panelled mini killer romance lights paired with Electrical chair delight pageantry
I’m guessing at least 16 of you folks have this dialed so that I can rely on your incredible solution and send you that Elite champagne in celebration of your advanced metrics analysis solution.

Don't we have a mod here who works for Orkin?
-
hhahaha.. forgot about that... but even so, there are a lot of trick people in here that know the TRUTH about this solution... so let's hear it.

We have pretty bad mosquitos here in white wakanda from June to September. I just run a few citronella tiki torches but they only seem to work ok. I’m sure there are better solutions but I’m not dialed in to what those are.

Cut down all the trees and eliminate stagnant water.

That is just like saying stay away from dangerously beautiful women... i don't think i'm listening to that...BleachedAnusDawg said:Cut down all the trees and eliminate stagnant water.

Wish I had a solution but I don't beyond what Yella said

I have no trees but my yard is surrounded by them so I have no control over them. I have field turf and 2 dogs so there’s almost always a turd pile attracting flies.YellowSnow said:We have pretty bad mosquitos here in white wakanda from June to September. Mrs Nacho makes some mix of lemon water or oil and some other stuff that she keeps in a large spray bottle. She sprays that during the summer every 1-2 weeks and it helps keep the yard smelling nice and reduces flies.
There are some plants or flowers that’ll keep mosquitoes and flies away. If you have any large standing water other than the pool, get mosquito bricks to kill the mosquitoes in there.
And finally, the citronella helps. I had torches lining my yard but they were a complete pain in my ass. I eventually bought jars that look like oversized candles. Easier to refill and change the wicks and portable. -
And I’ve never done this but you can try a bat box. Bats eat all kinds of insects and the bay box supposedly keeps them close to your property.

We go heavy citronella, and a couple of years ago got a Black and Decker zapper, hung next to the door to our deck, that has worked (disgustingly) well in keeping them out of the house…
EDIT: I hear the mosquito bricks work well with pool situations, from a friend who has a pool…
