I don’t even care that Wattenberg was picked in the 5th round because in his 3-4 years as a starter, he was never truly good.
Our OL has been a mess under Huff. It’s astonishing that he was kept around. I think it was because he has won big recruiting battles and DeBoer and his group really don’t know much about recruiting because they haven’t done it.
NIL makes it all a mess, but DeBoer and his guys would eventually become good recruiters because they are good guys. DeBoer is a no nonsense guy that also isn’t a dick, which in today’s age of players, is needed.
