    American Pie
It would have been Dazed and Confused but when a group of us went to see American Pie the whole theater laughed and clapped the whole time. Never seen anything like it before or since. I do understand though if you were raised in the 70’s.

Also, got a hand job while watching 10 Things I hate about you. Humble brag I know

D and C has future major stars in supporting roles.

Also I'm a mid 70s high school grad still dazed and confused

As someone who has inhaled second hand smoke from @RaceBannon 's fresh bowl, I can confirm.

There are no great teen movies in the 90's.

There are several slightly above average.

    80's, baby.

American Pie obviously made the most pp's tingle and D&C had the best cast but 10 things was the best story. Also had the best setting.

I just saw D&C about a year ago (first tim), and I can say that it was an accurate portrayal of the mid-late 70’s, for me…

    Dazed and Confused

    Easy choice

I was around 40 when this came out. I thought it was stupid. Had to watch several times to be sure though

I have never laughed so hard at a shock comedy as I did American Pie inbthe theater. The whole place was rolling. Also I could stop seeing Shannon Elizabeth instead of my wife's face during sex for like a year after.

It doesn't hold up to a couple others on this list though. Dazed and Confused wins easily on the strength of the young cast, the tight pants, and the sound track.

I’m glad to hear others experiencing the same phenomenon

You were not wrong. I was in my late 20s, newly married, and vulnerable to easy comedy and tits. I've caught parts of it since, and aside from the kid fucking the pie, I barely chuckle at it.

You're getting gay and senile in your old age Throbber.

Shannon Elizabeth in American Pie is probably the greatest senseless jugs scene in the history of the genre.
    The topic is not jugs

    It is great teen movies.

American Pie is an almost perfect teen sex comedy. It has tits. It has a purpose (kids trying to get laid) it has raunchy humor. It has sex. It has a decent soundtrack. It resurrected the teen sex comedy genre as it had been in a coma

Love Dazed and Confused but its a 70's teen movie filmed in the 90's. I had the soundtrack, watched the making of, and a bunch of other stuff. 10 things and Clueless probably best represent the decade. Kids and BITH do as well but for super small segments of the population. The other teen movie that came in late but wasn't nearly as good was Can't Hardly Wait. Other flicks, and are horror movies would be Scream and I know what you did last summer. Weirdest teen movie I remember was called Getting Lucky. Main nerdy character is shrunk to the size of a flea and finds himself in the vagina of the girl he has a crush on. No joke.

Also possibly the shittiest teen movie also filmed in Seattle at Lincoln was the Class of 1999. It might also be shitty enough to be completely on Youtube.

I mean it's Shakespeare as a teen movie
