American PieIt would have been Dazed and Confused but when a group of us went to see American Pie the whole theater laughed and clapped the whole time. Never seen anything like it before or since. I do understand though if you were raised in the 70’s.
Also, got a hand job while watching 10 Things I hate about you. Humble brag I know -
Dazed and Confused
Super tough call here for me. American Pie was my runner up. But Dazed and Confused in on my Mt Rushmore of movies I quote the most. Alright, alright...JoeEDangerously said:It would have been Dazed and Confused but when a group of us went to see American Pie the whole theater laughed and clapped the whole time. As someone who has inhaled second hand smoke from @RaceBannon 's fresh bowl, I can confirm.RaceBannon said:D and C has future major stars in supporting roles.

There are no great teen movies in the 90's.
There are several slightly above average.
80's, baby.

10 Things I Hate About YouAmerican Pie obviously made the most pp's tingle and D&C had the best cast but 10 things was the best story. Also had the best setting.

Dazed and ConfusedI just saw D&C about a year ago (first tim), and I can say that it was an accurate portrayal of the mid-late 70’s, for me…

Dazed and ConfusedI have never laughed so hard at a shock comedy as I did American Pie inbthe theater. The whole place was rolling. Also I could stop seeing Shannon Elizabeth instead of my wife's face during sex for like a year after.
It doesn't hold up to a couple others on this list though. Dazed and Confused wins easily on the strength of the young cast, the tight pants, and the sound track.
