I wasn't in the know of Disney's special arrangements with Florida, sorta assumed they paid taxes like everyone else.
Seems like a long time coming. -
The big advantage is that if Universal Studios wanted to expand they would need permits and plan reviews by the Florida DEQ, DOT and city and county zoning boards. Disney could just start building on its property. Shave years and millions of dollars on each project.
