An opinion I see a lot on r/politics is that the lies were totally fine during campaigning and that you can't expect a politician to actually follow through you idiots.
Like yeah they are all lying shitheads but you're supposed to be mad when they don't do stuff lol -
Of course the campaign is all lies, but when a politician follows up and does what the campaign promise was - immediate smear campaign via the media to get rid of that asshole.
When they do nothing, business as usual. Effective politicians need to be purged from the system. -
