Imagine being on the side against intact families and present fathers.

This message was one of the things that made Obama somewhat of an interesting candidate back in 2007-2008. Of course he immediately abandoned this message as soon as he started getting push back from Jessie Jackson and Al Sharpton.MikeDamone said:Imagine being on the side against intact families and present fathers.
What Kobe calls "progress" and "freedom" is actually really shitty for kids and if you were honestly concerned about cutting the poverty rate you be doing everything you could do discourage out of wedlock births. Kobe and other leftists love to talk a big game about how much they care about the poor, but all that really means is that they support more government spending and more "free" shit.
When it comes to actually doing something that really would cut down on the number of poor people, cutting illegal immigration and discouraging the number of out of wedlock births, they're either silent or openly supportive of both. -
Instead of increasing welfare for single mothers increase for married living together parents. It'll all end.

I've been saying this for over 20 years. How about we as a society decide that we'll put a stigma on having kids out of wedlock that's at least as strong as the social stigma on smoking or calling something "gay."Sledog said:Instead of increasing welfare for single mothers increase for married living together parents. Dem strategy to own them forever as their new indentured voting block. LBJ said he'd buy them and they'd vote dem forever. They were successful converting the once republican majority who voted for the party of Lincoln and instead now vote for the party of slavery.SFGbob said:

So Dungy is just like Obama is what I got out of this thread
You've seen one you've seen them all -
If Dungy is now backing away from the comments he made yesterday, yes. Is he doing that?LebamDawg said:So Dungy is just like Obama is what I got out of this thread

Yup, if Barry had a spine who could have attacked this issue head on. It wasn’t about embarrassing the Black community or single mothers. It was about saving young Black men. I thought the Left was interested in doing just that.SFGbob said:

Another reason I abandoned that shitty hypocritical party. -
I gave up thinking the left was at all interested in black lives or black education. All they want is the power and the votes. You think barry who sent his kids to private school has any interest at all in having black kids getting a quality education? Private tuition vouchers for poor black families? Nope. In school education during the "pandemic" that didn't effect kids? Nope. Expecting discipline in the class room? Nope. Expecting teachers who can actually teach reading, writing and arithmetic? Nope.46XiJCAB said:

Obama knew that the very same kids who were committing crimes and dropping out of school were the same kids who were acting out in class and getting kicked out and suspended. But that didn't stop him from later blaming white racism for the disproportionate number of black kids who were being suspended from school and forcing schools to change their suspension policies.WestlinnDuck said:
