Since white people are still a majority in this country about 62% it's hardly shocking that they commit more crime. Mostly, although the distraff portion of the 13% does their disportionate share of the murders as well. What's really wild is when you break down the 6% by the age group that commits most of the violent crime 16 - 40 and figure into that only a small portion of that age group population are violent criminals, you're looking at about 1% to 1.5% of the US population committing over half of all homocides and a huge amount of the all violent crime and robberies.MikeDamone said:

This is why locking people up and keeping them in jail for a long time has such major impact on crime rates. The number of violent criminals isn't that large and by someone's 20s we already have a pretty good idea if they are going to be violent criminals. Identifying them early and locking them up makes a huge difference in reducing violent crime. -

No description of the suspects. Gosh let me guess. Got to love SF, they caught the guys, arrested them and then released them to home detention.
