Well if so, fuck you for thinking it was a smart idea to close 520 during evening rush hour for boat traffic, while I-90 was already highly congested with traffic of east siders driving into Seattle for a Mariners game.

Stand on the edge of 520, pour gas on yourselves, light it, and jump off the bridge so we can see you get what you deserve (make sure a news helicopter is filming it).

Oh, and if you work for one of the private construction contractors profiting from all of this 520 debacle... fuck you too.

I almost never take 520, but I-90 was fucked so I ran some errands in Bellevue, planning to take 520 afterwords (using the Medina shortcut). But then I get there and ... bam!! "closed for boat traffic"

Who the fuck plans for the DOT closing it for traffic during rush hour... on a fucking game night no less???

As to living in Seattle... I know I know... but I've owned this house a long time and don't want to sell yet, or rent it out.

No wonder why traffic was such a shit-show around the city.

Just so I understand....while you support driving on the 520 you do not support maintenance of the 520

I don't support it being scheduled during rush hour.

You sound like you have the cerebral manpower to work for the dot.

I'm guessing that besides choosing to live in Seattle with your shitty Comcast cable and shitty traffic you also vote for the liberal fucktards that run that are.

    Take responsibility for your life

So you're saying if I was more like you then the dot wouldn't close 520 during rush hour?

We have 3-4 times as many people and 4-5 times as many freeways. Let's just say I don't miss Seattle. Jerry Brown and I go way back

Seattle is well on the way to having the worst traffic in the nation.

Sounds like the city needs to levy some special taxes on each citizen and ear mark it for roads. It for roads, you all want roads, right?

I support roads, but I'm against gas guzzlers. Maybe start taxing gas more. That said, I think it's a brilliant idea. We need more taxes to fund quality infrastructure. It should get unanimous support, but some people really don't get how taxes work.

Either that or gas-guzzler tax on large displacement engines at the purchase point. Seattle needs better roads but the people are unlikely to vote for a pure roads tax. I'm not too concerned with how the goal is met, just that more money is found to fix roads.
