  It's really all about who goes into teaching these days. A lot of single women who have been radicalized by their college education. Vouchers are the only answer. Yes some parents will still make shitty choices on where they send their kids but many won't and the system as it exists now gives them no choice.
  
  The public schools were already trending down but what Obama did with school discipline policies fast-tracked the decline. Class rooms are no longer places where learning is even possible.

  And yet outcomes in education, test scores, grades, subject proficency, have nearly nothing to do with how much money is spent per pupil. Utah and Iowa have some to the higher test scores and spend far less than educational shit-holes like DC and Chicago.
