if Lindy can go 14-19, 275 yds, 2 td, 2 turnovers + win

That will be all Peterman needs to see to validate his decision.

What about 14-20?
-
What we saw in Miles vs. OSU leaves me convinced he is and should be the starter regardless of what happens against a Hawaii team coming off a 1-11 season.
-
I don't think 2 turnovers is going to validate the decision in Peternorth's mind.

Kellen Moore went 14-19 in his first game @ Idaho State. 14-20 might validate accuracy issues.

It is fucking Hawaii

what about 15-21 and 270 yard? Then what?RaceBannon said:What about 14-20?

Miles is the starter. Petersen is already dropping hints about it.
People act like football is Newtonian Physics and Miles has zero clue of what's going on..... because of two weeks of missed practice time in the spring -
what does this have to do with Sark?
-
Sarktastic, you could be right, but you've been sucking Lindy off since Spring Ball. Why do you like Lindquist so much better? It makes no sense. If you listened or read a recap of the coaches show last night, there were multiple hints dropped that Miles is the guys. When asked about leadership, Peterman said Miles impressed him the most. He was also impressed with how quickly Miles gets things. As Derek mentioned, Miles has played well against good competition. He's been ahead of Lindquist for two years. The best QB will play and evidence points to Miles being better.sarktastic said:There is no reason for him to fear looking over his shoulder. He will remain the guy.

It was actually UCLA, Oregon State, and BYU.sarktastic said:DerekJohnson said:What we saw in Miles vs. OSU leaves me convinced he is and should be the starter regardless of what happens against a Hawaii team coming off a 1-11 season.

I guess it makes sense. Not many Jewish lawyers on Mercer Island have sons that are good enough to play Pac 12 football. You gotta support the one that does. While Lindquist was looking like the high school Tim Tebow, Miles was winning state championships in Denver. Every QB on our roster was great in high school.sarktastic said:

Sounds to me like Pete might have found the one edgy player he can relate to.RoadDawg55 said:

Give me a break Derek, that was one game vs. A completely unmotivated Beaver team. Fer fucksake, Miles performance vs UCLA was better. Lindquist would have had the same numbers vs the beavs.DerekJohnson said:What we saw in Miles vs. OSU leaves me convinced he is and should be the starter regardless of what happens against a Hawaii team coming off a 1-11 season.

Miles is the guy but Lindquist will hopefully push him a bit. With the advent of the preseason schedule, I hope all 3 guys get a lot of time before Stanford. But Miles is certain to be the guy.

Any coach who decides who is starting QB for the season will be based off running a limited playbook against a POS team like Hawaii is KimGrinoldsFS. -
You have nothing to base your Lindy speculation on you bearded gaybob.puppylove_sugarsteel said:

Wait...Lindquist is Jewish?

That beaver team wasn't unmotivated until after the 1st quarter, at least not from my vantage point. Both teams were going in with similar (if not the same) records and neither team had national title aspirations blown like Oregon. If anything Oregon didn't show up the game after.
