US Ally Saudi Arabia Just Beheaded 81 People In One Day

Half the issue with the tour courses is the time of year that they play them in. Muirfied in May gets soaked every year it seems like. Pebble in February is beyond soft. FedEx cup in humid and rainy east coast sucks. West coast courses in August are awesome, hard and fast which is the best tv experience. The players hate it though. They really should have a rotating spot out west that time of year. The Napa tourney in September that gets no one good playing is one of those the sneaky better ones to watch every year.RaceBannon said:Firestone is a flat ass slog through 18 identical holes

Back to oil. Word is that the Saudi's are toying with the idea of accepting the Yen as payment for oil.
Hope no one here likes their money much... -
Can we get back to talking about golf?SwisherSweetboy said:Back to oil. Word is that the Saudi's are toying with the idea of accepting the Yen as payment for oil.

Golf will only be played by rich Chinese people.

I hate it that they moved the PGA Championship to May from August and kicked the Players back to March. Seems like it phucked up both events. Why the PGA wanted to have the PGA Championship in the South or Midwest in August was stupid. The 1998 Championship at Sahalee CC was a great event. Lots of great courses in North Cali and Oregon and Washington.Bob_C said:

Saudi executions to where the PGA should be played….you can’t get this anywhere else. More than worth $10.95

Pumpkin Ridge just got selected as the second stop on Normans Saudi Tour. Outrage on the Twitter that Portland of all places would sell out to a foreign dictatorship that doesn’t support climate change or human rights.MikeDamone said:Saudi executions to where the PGA should be played….you can’t get this anywhere else. The schedule is crafted to be during the Quad Cities or whatever then the fall. No direct competition
Telling
Also no word on who is playing
Norman should have got Chinese money. NBC and golf don't have an issue with that
The Saudis are the bad, bad guys. China is pretty cool and stuff -
The struggle is real.

Tom has a really rough life.

What has been the disaster at Chambers Bay? I played it 5 or 6 years ago and it was in terrible shape.WestlinnDuck said:
Lots of top courses (Bandon et al) are in the middle of nowhere. They are also pushing the public course angle. Worked for Beth Paige Black not so much for the Chambers Bay disaster.RaceBannon said:Firestone is a flat ass slog through 18 identical holes

That, and it looked like sh*t on TV. Players and fans spraining or breaking ankles on the slopes with horrible viewing areas.RoadTrip said:

Chambers is a far better course than Sawgrass which the players love (or get paid to pretend to).
