Just dumb. Globalism has been in retreat since the Financial Crisis. That's 14 years ago for the kids who sucked at math.

    But awesome tee shirts!

I asked my wife to quit buying anything "Made In China" - she was amazed at how many products she loves are made in China.
She wanted a new bed spread and she loves UGGs or whatever they are. I read the tag for her. She finally settled on one that was made in Mexico.

She wanted a small toaster oven - I have been looking for years for one that is not made in China. Every.single.brand
A small step against China but if everyone did it who knows.
I know Walmart would go out of business.

I overwhelmingly favor partnering up with our neighboring states, even those pussy-faggots to the North, instead of continuing to enrich our enemies abroad. I also like hot-blooded crazy Latinas way better than cold-hearted, conniving, scheming, back-stabbing Tiger milfs.

Vietnam is still a strong ally of ours, as far as I know. I'm sure they'd love a bigger share of the manufacturing business to supply the US market. As long as it's not a slave wage of course.

Vietnam, Indonesia, Taiwan, Singapore are all good options.

Mexico and other Central American countries I think would also help.

Help Mexico clear out cartels, set up infrastructure to manufacture everything, stem the tide of migrants flooding the border by giving them better jobs at home.

    It's a win for everyone.

Edit to say there would be a noticeable drop off in quality initially.

Say what you will about China, but they have production down to a science. They can make 1:1 Rolex clones, fucking anything, and they are good.

Vietnam is a wholly-owned subsidiary of China anymore, despite their desires to the contrary and their independence streak.

I'm not sure that's correct. On what do you base this?
