Look, he said "serious economist" - nothing about any flippant or moderate economists, okay?
Do you notice how the left always uses, "no serious (fill in the blank) is saying..............." Barry was a master at this. It's an attempt to eliminate all dissenting voices as non-thinkers.
    Yep, or "outside the mainstream."

Also no serious economist ever says "Trickle Down Economics". But that doesn't keep these retards form having it on a loop.

The left. "Let's make driving a combustion engine car so expensive that everyone will be forced to buy EV's." No thought given to how many people can afford EV's or what will happen to the price of EV's when the demand surges through the roof. The new Cadillac EV has a waiting list. I told one of my kids yesterday when some little EV crap car was ahead of us that that's what the GND lunatics envision for the masses while they drive Tesla's.

We're all in this together, except some have nicer toys. But they're all toys, right?

Just need to give people more tax credits and subsidies so they can pay for their EV. For the people who can’t afford that there is always public transportation or a life on the dole where you don’t have to commute to work.

You can always ride a bike to work too. Petey pretends he does.

During our renovation all the contractors have pickup trucks with a canopy or a van with shelving. The working man ain't showing up with a Nissan Leaf. When the EV market is still so small even with a massive federal tax credit all that is happening is the working man is paying for the upper class to virtue signal. Also, like the government ignoring the public safety issue of mass public transit, putting out expensive unmanned charging stations in the middle of nowhere won't have any risk of being vandalized. Single women can't wait to stop and charge up by themselves at night.

If you want to drive an EV fine, just leave the government out of it.

The post office just nixed purchasing EV's and went with traditional vehicles like those currently in use. The gov't always has options.
