I’m pretty fucking embarrassed that my old Soviet passport lists Russian as my ethnicity. I kept it as a memento - very few Soviet kids were allowed to have their own passport for foreign travel, it was rare for even adults to have one, it was a big deal and seems shameful now to hold on to such a useless status symbol. It’s almost as embarrassing as being dumb and gullible enough to share or believe this horse shit.
Oliver Stone just interviews people, I’m surprised
a Biden voter like him is gaining traction here. That’s beside the point. The director of this movie, and other Kremlin funded projects, is a man named Igor Lopatonok. He was born in Ukraine, but is a dual Russian-American citizen now. Guy really hates America, but happy to get citizenship. I decided to give him a professional look-see. His movie production company consists of three people, one of which is his goofy looking son. Past employees are exactly what one would expect from a Russian dizinformatziya org. Lots of mysterious funding for something that loses money, nice Beverly Hills home.
He does have a portly daughter back in Kyiv posting links to former friends of her father that say her dad is a propagandist who was seduced by Putin’s money. She was saying she hoped her dad’s awful videos would be removed from major platforms. I feel bad for her, she seems like a nice person who is ashamed of her dad. Hopefully her dad is able to save this rebellious Don Bass guy from Ukraine’s invasion of Ukraine. And hopefully he doesn’t have to spend any of his hard earned rubles on a funeral for her or any kind of medical treatment her. The Russian soldiers seem to prefer raping kids over adults, so maybe he can use the money on some English lessons. With the videos being removed he won’t have the ad revenue from useful idiots, so every kopeck counts.

By all rights we should ban you for being RussianRatherBeBrewing said:I’m pretty fucking embarrassed that my old Soviet passport lists Russian as my ethnicity. And I don't believe anything coming out of there including what gets posted here by anyone including you. LIPO and celebrate a place where the crazy can live free

I would take no umbrage, if this was 1939 I wouldn’t be associating with Germans. Hell, even the Russians banned me. Persona non-grata, on the no visa list for a while now. Doubtful that I’ll ever again be able to visit family burial plots, art that my grandfather lovingly restored, or even profit on the riches of the land for the benefit of me and multinational companies. Prior to that the Belarusians also banned me, but that wasn’t political - my friend just got drunk and caused a scene. Clarifying that because I’d hate to besmirch the fine name of their dictator, Mr Pringle.RaceBannon said:

I liked Platoon. But an open mind is very different from an open attempt to create a false narrative. Oliver Stone is a minor pawn here, he’s just being used for his name in order to lend credibility. -
I wish you had been here when OBK was an actual Putin fan boy. It would have been funRatherBeBrewing said:

He flamed out badly
Narrative creation is everywhere. It's a theme of the board
And malarkey
I meant no offense on the Russian crack. It's all the rage now -
If the plane had gone down the conspiracy theories would over run the planet

Just like the left's desire for an honest examination of the 2016 election, the government bureaucracy had no interest in an honest investigation of the JFK shooting. The Warren report was just a propaganda effort.RaceBannon said:
