Seattle teachers union demands forced masking until May to ensure 'sense of normalcy'

Seattle public schoolchildren could be required to wear masks until at least May, despite mandates being lifted in the state and county, as the school district negotiates further steps with the teachers union.

The union is arguing mask requirements bring a sense of "normalcy" to children.

Washington state Gov. Jay Inslee, a Democrat, has lifted his state’s indoor mask mandate beginning March 11, including in schools, and King County will follow suit. Seattle Public Schools, however, announced in a recent statement that it would keep its mask mandate for students "until further notice."

The most disgusting of the leftards are the ones proclaiming the wonderfulness of the public school system and then send their kids to private schools. Every dem president since Carter went to a private school and had their kids go to private school. Every leftard here won't touch tuition voucher programs for kids so they can escape the teacher unions. It certainly isn't a voting issue for them because they don't give a sh*t about educating the nation's kids.

    The MOST disgusting are the teachers' union employees and public school administrators who send their kids to private schools.

    I actually kind of admire their resolve in a way despite being completely wrong and non stop evidence of being wrong shoved in their face. They are so deep into this they are not backing down. 2+2=5.

    True. A recent poll of young people displayed a startling trend which showed 70% of them wanted to keep wearing their comfort diapers on their faces. The overwhelming reason was they wanted to hide imperfections in their perceived appearances.
