Just saw an article that Zelinsky ordered Ukraine hams not to transmit any news to the world at the start of this whole mess. Makes me wonder why? Why would he not want what's going on broadcast to the world? Unless it's not what the Zelinsky government is putting out.....

Other than the internet, social media, thousands of journalists with cameras from all over the world, and phones - how will any news get out?
Serious answer that is not needed: go sit by any airport, try to transmit some radio signals and let me know how that goes for you. If someone’s lame hobby is radio you would think they are aware of military use of RF for things like weapons guidance systems and a million other things. -

The guy’s mother is apparently still alive and kicking and is a diehard Soviet Commie and Putin supporter. A very wealthy one. In Russia, communists aren’t the same as Seattle/Portland/NorCal I-5 corridor commies. I don’t know how many people understand that. The communist party of Russia is actually more fascistic/nationalistic and only uses the ol’ hammer and sickle as a symbol of Russia’s imagined might. They would consider even a staunch Republican bastion like Idaho or Wyoming to be too liberal. -
