When covid kicked off they would quite literally patrol the neighborhood. Not marked or brandishing weapons as such, but if you were paying attention you knew they didnt belong.
The security details I have been privy to, you can bet they are all ex special forces.
All that said, I agree w @Bob_C and would amend to say once you get east of 405/Lake Sammamish an invading force would find a weapon behind every blade of grass.
