He is requesting no soldiers on the ground but is asking for the US to provide a no-fly zone over their country while his brothers fight on the ground. If Putin isn't stopped now, where does his pursuit end? Another point made by a reporter on the ground was Ukrain has no chance in the short run but over a longer period they will win the gorilla war and this prolinged war will mark the end of Putin. An interesting prediction.

    Enforcing a no-fly zone over the Ukraine while Russia invades? We might as well declare war on them now. It would be the surest way to escalate conflict. We start shooting down Russian aircraft and we're immediately in a hot war with Russia.

    I get that. It was just an interesting idea. Are there any airforce resources in that part of the world which could thwart Russia? It's the only chance Ukraine would have to win a prolonged war with Russia.
