    But oh my Brave, that’s not how they operate. First thing they do is port your phone number to another carrier. They then dig hard into your financials and socials. If you happen to have a gambling or crypto site app on your phone, they’ll make deposits to your bank accounts but then take withdrawals of twice that. And because you don’t know your phone is dead, they prolly get away with it. They then will post the worst thing they can on your social media. They’ll also attempt to change passwords on pretty much anything you pay for online. Be it your utility bills or whatever.

    I only wish they would have come to my house instead.

    It all happened to me. Twice,except the gambling and crypto thing. That only happened once. As if I was stupid enough to still have those on my phone after the 1st time I would have deserved what I got. Also an Antifa operative gleaned some not so virtuous posts from here and used them in a Twitter shaming campaign a year before that. Hence my handle change here.
    It should be told but I would understand if you don't want to.
