When you know they are in trouble.

Vulnerable Senate Dems try to run as tax-cutters
They're pitching gas tax holidays and other pocketbook-friendly plans to combat GOP messaging on inflation. But any real proposal has a long way to go.
Vulnerable Senate Democrats are attempting a bold strategy: Running for reelection as the real tax-cutters in Congress, even if it pits them against some of their caucus colleagues.
A quartet of the chamber’s most endangered Democrats are backing a proposal to suspend the federal gas tax through the end of the year and urging their party to embrace it as a signature economic pitch ahead of the midterms. And more ideas are on the way to ease voters’ pocketbooks.

So, the first thing that Cho Bai Den as President was stop the Keystone X pipeline and throw a pipe wrench into fracking. We called it that this would lead to less family wage jobs and lead to higher energy prices. Bai Den's response was to beg for increased Saudi oil production (but not US oil production). I'd support the tax holiday if it was paid for by cutting the US Department of Energy and ending renewable energy credits. Otherwise, no. Same dipshits really want a massive carbon tax like in Cali and Europe.Bendintheriver said:Now rats in trouble want to cut taxes!!!! Woo Hoo! The party of tax cuts. From Politico even.

Also rapidly moving away from covid mandates, spinning they never wanted to defund the police, and wanting to get the border under control. 😂

They just wanted to “reimagine” policing not defund it.MikeDamone said:Also rapidly moving away from covid mandates, spinning they never wanted to defund the police, and wanting to get the border under control. 😂

I've heard that the democrats just need to go further left -

Wasn't Kobe pushing that once upon a tim? The real issue is America supported a radical move to the left and the whole problem is the Leftists aren't left enough?RaceBannon said:

Turns out America saw progressivism in action the last year + and hated it. And so all the rats scurry back to the middle because all the polls have them getting murdered. Nobody likes CRT, Teachers Unions, inflation, reparations or free college. Nobody thinks an individual is infrastructure. People like nice safe communities with policing. People hate Covid mandates. NOGAF about trannies. We've? been right since fucking forever. -
Listening to the left on covid policy continues to be one of the stupidest things demorats have ever done:
Unmasking schoolkids--"Insane and reckeless"
Firing 'unvaccinated' (fuck natural immunity) police officers--"good"
