Story as old as time, people living based on feelings and never thinking things through. When they are just phucking up themselves, good for them. But too many people have kids they don't want or animals they don't want. In this case it was cows they didn't want. Easy to sell a cow. Tough to sell your kids that you unexpectedly discover require constant care and money. Or dogs that someone buys then decides they don't want a dog. My brother-in-law got a dog and decided that chaining it outside for its entire life was the solution for the dog he actually never wanted. Not surprisingly he is a narcissistic POS.
