The problem is this is what NIL was intended to be, and the fact that it has taken us this long to even get to this is patheticinsinceredawg said: -
UW is light years behind and unwilling to do what winning schools are doinginsinceredawg said: -
Good start. Its not an A&M 80 yard TD throw but it's a first down

Well this should bring in an average of $20 per player each year. We are well on our way!

Maybe this will give us(?) a fighting chance to keep USC from stealing Conerly. #PrayingDoog

Thank goodness. I’ve been looking for a number 7 Huard jersey, to complete a couples Halloween costume.
But so far this is the best option. I’m doubting that it’s a real true Arizona Washington Huskies jersey and won’t match my Wheaton jersey. I don’t think Arizona Washington Huskies use Wingdings as a font.
Thanks for expanding into China, Larry Scott! -
stupid doesn’t begin to describe our NIL program, or our program management efforts
So far in that twilight zone kind of way, Karen Raming is our perfect spokesman as well -
Even more pathetic is jersey sales aren't even in the same universe as where the real NIL money is, and yet UW is touting them as a needle mover, but when that's all you have to sell, you hold your nose and do it.Mad_Son said:

As others have said this doesn't move the needle. It is how NIL was "supposed" to be used though, so some small credit to the AD for getting something going. But this should have been a done deal last fall, so they could move onto how NIL is really being used which is a funnel of big time booster money to players to buy their services. The fact that we can't or won't figure this out is the absolute end of the program as a contender in the Pac.
USC and Oregon are paying players with NIL. Like they should. If we won't, then no amount of "greatest setting" is getting top players here. This shit is simple. It's pay to play and it's finally mostly legal. Fucking jersey sales? That's your big plan? What, a thousand bucks a quarter, maybe? While USC boosters throw half a million a year at you to put your picture up at the local car dealership empire?
We fucking suck. We deserve to lose. -
UW trots this out there to show they're doing something.

And I had previously been optimistic I just wasn't in the loop with what was happening.DerekJohnson said:UW trots this out there to show they're doing something.
