    It makes 0 sense.

The 1980 Rose Bowl-bound Huskies lost at home to Oregon 34-10. Sometimes things just don't make sense.
I was there. It was reported that Brooks threw up on the sidelines. Steve Brown was the man on D that day, pick six of Flick. Reggie Ogburn gave the dawgs fits all day. It was a crappy grey cold day. Brooks only win in Husky Stadium.

Oregon jumped on UW early and UW couldn't buy a basket in the first half. In the Colorado game Oregon came out again on fire and jumped all over the Buffs and I think they thought they were going to have another blow-out win. They started getting really sloppy with the ball, stopped playing good defense and got their butts beat.

    I suppose that's my frustration.

There was a noted increase in effort in the Colorado and Utah games on the defensive end of the floor. They pressured the ball a lot more and didn't allow the ball to get to the high post without a fight.

Why do they always fall over and die like a wounded dog against Oregon? is more of what this thread is about.

Hop should give half his salary to Will, who got the Seattle kids to come home. Hop will get another year, unless he goes all Jimmy on the sidelines.

Weren't we without Hopkins when we lost to Oregon?

Highly doubt that would have made an ounce of difference.
We beat the ducks with Hop at the helm at home so maybe it did make a difference.
