Kareem is a jerk, I know from personal experience. He is also widely disliked by almost everyone he has ever been in contact with. He himself has acknowledged the fact that he treated people poorly and needed to make amends after he retired, it's why he has been left out of coaching opportunities. Complete lack of respect and self awareness until no one cares about you anymore is hardly intelligence personified. He is also a sexist pig who has destroyed the lives of all women he has had longer relationships with. Concerning intelligence, when his house burned down and destroyed all of his belongings including his several million dollar original jazz album collection, he had neglected to purchase home owners insurance, hardly an intelligent move.trublue said:

True story. I was outside a mall in the LA area and there’s Kareem standing on line for a movie with a hottie.
Impression. Tall of course but I was shocked by how skinny the guy really was. Just a straight up bean pole. He was years retired at the time, probably still in his 50’s. -
