Cam Bright. 6* LB (Portal)

Pretty sure he's playing inside. The slot/hybrid (Husky?) position would be the other possibility since he's kind of in between safety and LB weight and runs like a safety. He's not a big LB and the new defense doesn't use small outside linebackers if I understand correctly.TrumpsWall said:Does he play inside for more depth where we’re thin or outside in the new defense?
Money well spent. This was the most important position to add a good player or two, aside from quarterback. -
In the new 4-2-5 defense the 5th DB which has been a smaller nickel (Budda, Molden, Bookie) in the PK/JL defense is replaced by the bigger "Husky" position which is more of a safety/WLB hybrid. Shaq would have been perfect for this role.chuck said:

For this upcoming season, It's not clear to me if Bright and the JC transfer Demario King will play Husky or MLB. FWIW, King is listed as a LB on the GoHuskies roster while Dom (who's been rumored to be in the Husky role too) is still listed as a DB. -
Dom/Cov/Asa battle at husky. Dom will win that. Cov to safety.insinceredawg said:

I figured Cov would play outside corner. Here's my best guess at the 2 deeps on defense:backthepack said:

I found out today he fought his own teammate at the peach bowl. He's #38.

That was intentional. I hope Asa doesn't see the field unless it's an emergency.Fear_Boner said:

I'm not sure if the base 4 man front will consist of 2 DL and 2 EDGE players or 3 and 1. If it's 2 and 2 then Savell could be in the rotation. -
Looks like a lot of @EsophagealFeces. I heard "beat his ass in the locker room" come from someone there. I wonder if he did.ROOFDOOGINS said:I found out today he fought his own teammate at the peach bowl. He's #38.

Good. I wish our guys had enough balls to square up with a teammate. Our guys are more likely to fight about their feminist studies classes than the actual game. Bring me more guys who want to throw down, I'd rather lose with some gangsters than pussy softies we had the last 2 years.ROOFDOOGINS said:I found out today he fought his own teammate at the peach bowl.
