Oh great. Coach Pete is bringing another Boise State CC kid to UW. He clearly can't recruit at the Pac-12 level. Sark wouldn't have offered this kid (at least not until he finished 4th for four other 5* kids and got us more free pub first!). I'm not saying he's Ty, but this is something Ty would have done. Stop twisting.

This is bullshit. We made a huge mistake not offering the job to Nuss. He could have got nansen to stay and probably kept our recruiting class together. Now we offer all these kids with no edge. It's sad.

I am sure Eklund will address in his blog soon that Pete didn't reach out to the 4/5 star LB talent like Sark is doing.

I don't want to start a new thread, so I'm posting it here. The two areas of huge need last recruiting class were DL and DB. OL was another, but not at the same level. The early reports are that the freshman DL and DB's are great. Now, it could be hype, but there seems to be some real ballers in both groups. Petersen killed it for his first class.

Petersen won't be a glamorous recruiter, but it will be effective. And unlike Captain Petron who always panicked at the end and reached for guys to sign after he struck out with the sizzle guys, Petersen's targets his guys early regardless of stars.
