The final eight candidates for the name were listed as the Washington; Armada, Presidents, Brigade, Redhawks, Commanders, RedWolves, Defenders and Football Team.
President Jason Wright said on Tuesday, however, that the franchise will not be going with Wolves or RedWolves due to copyright concerns.
I hope they stick with Washington Football Team. Choosing an actual name will slowly make people forget they were the Redskins. Keeping them as the WFT keeps Redskins alive in people's minds, which I'm sure is what Snyder wants to do. -
Quite honestly I liked WFT since it was so bad it was good, and befitting of such a loser franchise
All the other names suck -
