Uhhhh Passion, he's a fucking slug who doesn't have the arm strength to throw it out of bounds. Don't be a tard. Stick with your defensive line analysis

Price is a slug? That doesn't have the arm strength to throw it out of bounds?

Well, I guess the Seahawks were foolish for calling him within seconds after the draft to bring him in for a tryout. And I guess all the records at UW were a fluke.

    Thanks for straightening me out.

I don't agree he is a slug but the Seahawks call a lot of UW players to at least come try out for them... on top of Keith being buddies with RW it really wasn't that big of a shocker.
My point is that terrell pryor is a good athlete, but a terrible NFL quarterback. I watched him in Oakland, and seen his first couple pre-season games with the Seahawks. His accuracy and decision making are for shit. When it comes to running a complex system and making accurate throws, I would take Price over pryor every day of the week.

Pryor can run fast n shit.

It's hard to question Seahawk personnel moves after a Super Bowl win, but his acquisition wasn't a stellar one. I really hope he isn't the back-up. If they want to try a few running packages for him, fine.

Pryor was a lottery ticket. They gave up a 7th round pick for a guy with tons of raw ability but who needs a lot of development. The Hawks risked a last rounder (and yes, a roster spot) on the idea that they may be able to develop him into something decent. It's not likely, of course, but if they can they'll have a hell of a backup QB and somebody that they can probably flip down the road for a much higher pick. If not, they're out a 7th round pick.

It probably doesn't work out, but if it does it could pay handsomely. Low risk, medium-high reward.

Keith Price was never going to make this team, it's BJ Daniels who is going to lose his spot to Pryor.

I will be rooting for Teeth, he was my favorite UW QB since Tui...
I see what you did there.

I didn't expect Price to make it in the NFL. We've heard about him being fully healed before only to see him gimping around after the first busted play. He's just too gangly and fragile and not real poised under pressure. I completely disagree with comments about his arm however. It's not elite but he has a fine arm and is accurate from the pocket.

RW's ability to play "rat ball"...scramble and be a threat to run or hit big plays outside the pocket...is a big key to the Seahawks' success. Price wouldn't last two series trying to do that in the NFL. Prior throws ugly but at least has the physical tools to play that game. He has a better chance of succeeding there than Price. Hate to say it but...

Yeah, that explains why Cody Pickett was such a top notch NFL prospect. Pryor has more talent in his pinky than Keith has in his whole body. KP had a nice career and is a great kid, but I don't know how anyone could look at him and see an NFL player.
