Lanning going for the free pub and not having the balls to tell Kirby he’s going to coach his own team is a weak move. There isn’t a single adult on that staff and once they all those kids into the locker room it’s going to be a free for all. Cook it.

It’s probably his only chance to coach in a playoff game, so I can’t blame him.
It sounds like he’s an honorable guy. Unlike that DeBoor fellow. Abandoning his team. I shan’t be expecting any honorable delegations from him.

Anyway, I’m tired of people saying that Lanning will leave Oregon for the SEC like every other mercenary. That’s just not true. Oregon’s coaches leave us for the ACC, get it right. -
