I can't tell you how many times I have said and heard others say it to NE transplants who moved here where I live: Keep your rat politics back where you came from or move back North.

Rat transplants deserve no mercy for what their politics have done to places they now want to move from. Fuckers...........

I'm hearing that most people look down on the redneck states for being pro covid and do everything they can to avoid going there.

Would be interesting to see how much of that is migration to TX and FL. Lots of folks looking to avoid state taxes now that remote work is available.

Tennessee has become a destination state too.

I would love to see this by state. I know Idaho, Montana and (guessing) Arizona have made gains.

I saw the graph somewhere earlier.

Cali and NY each lost 350,000. Utah ID and MT all had gains. ID was something like 53,000

Cali is losing hundreds of thousands of taxpaying citizens. And importing hundreds of thousands of illegal and legal immigrants to go on welfare - but are still in a net loss position but the actual dollars are a horrific mess.

Not a new or unique observation but state is rapidly devolving into 3rd World status. Extremely wealthy people who have the means to completely wall themselves off with private security, private schools and the ability to live in areas that aren't impacted by the leftist politics they support. Pelosi is the queen of this class of people. None of the crime and violence and homeless degenerates that middle class folks have to deal with ever darken her door.

How in the hell with all the money that has been spent on public education in Cali do you end up with one in four residents of the Golden State being illiterate? It's almost like actual education isn't important but making fun of West Virginia is very important.

I'll guarantee there are far, far more people in California who are poor, illiterate and strung out than there are in WV. 1/3 of all Welfare recipents in the entire country are in California. Have of all the homeless drug addicts live in California. Only a tiny fraction of all black and Hispanic high school students can read at grade level.

    Statewide these are the numbers.

While 72 percent of Asian students and 61 percent of white students statewide met or exceeded standards in English, only 32 percent of Latino students and 28 percent of African-American students matched that achievement.

In math, scores were lower and the gaps wider: 69 percent of Asians, 49 percent of whites, 21 percent of Latinos and 16 percent of African-Americans met or exceeded standards.

But when you look at school districts like Oakland Unified the numbers look more like this: The numbers were equally dismal in Oakland Unified, where those meeting standards made up only 29 percent in English and 23 percent in math. For African-Americans in the district, the percentages were just 16 percent in English and 9 percent in math.

Think Midler would ever talk about areas in her state like she does about WV?

This is just more evidence on how ignorant leftard "elitists" are. While they have very strong feelings about how things are, actual knowledge of how things are is to be avoided at all costs. And in this case, ignorance is not bliss, it leads to very angry and unhappy leftists who have this tremendous wish to make everyone equally miserable.

To be fair, I assume most of those numbers reflect Texas and Florida. Zero state income tax and all…

Just read that Florida is adding nearly 400,000 citizens per year, so your assumption seems to be on solid ground. Also not surprisingly culture and freedom are among the factors most noted. DeathSantis, lulz.

Working for cash means no taxes for Cali. Cali can do what it wants.

You can run down WV because of the way they vote and the fact that it's mostly white. Try running down Oakland in the same manner, even though Oakland is far more like the disparagments she uses than is WV.

Speaking of red how were the non-communist Republicans made red and the actual communists, the Dims, were given the color blue?

I'm sure the narrative is true, but WA State did not lose 29 residents from 7/1/20 to 7/1/21. OFM has the state gaining 61,600 residents. Not sure this guy is a great source.

CA doesn't think so. They've likely gained hundreds of thousands if not millions and they have convinced themselves more freeshitters is good for them.

I would have expected it to be 'even' in WA. I could definitely argue for a net gain, though.

Lots coming from CA, lots gtfo too.
