Now that we all agree healthcare isn't a right

If you get sick you shouldn't have been poor
Better luck next time
Premium health insurance for those who can pay. Much lower rates without poor people on it
Healthcare is supposedly finite. Save it for the winners

The rats relish the opportunity to let die those that choose not to get the jab.TheKobeStopper said:Who agreed to that?
Everyone who chooses to not take care of the kids they father. Everyone who chooses not to educate themselves. Those that choose to not work. All those that choose to not get healthcare.
Let them die right kobe?

Try to tamp down the latent racism please -
Healthcare isn’t a right. It involves a service from someone else. You cannot compel someone to perform a service for you.
Freedom of speech is a right, as laid out by our constitution
The right to defend yourself is laid out in our constitution
The right to pursue prosperity is laid out in our constitution
The right to practice your chosen religion is laid out in our constitution.
The right to make someone else pay for your healthcare is nowhere implied in our constitution
As a society, we should be judged by how we protect and care for the most vulnerable of our citizens. So we need to have a better system of offering care to those who cannot care for themselves. That does not mean creating a system that also benefits those who refuse to work or participate in our society.
In other words, if you can’t afford care, you should have options that won’t ruin you financially, but this idea that everything should just be free is impossible. It’s a fantasy that is both unfair to those who work hard to pursue happiness and prosperity and economically ruinous to our system as a whole.
I WOULD be in favor of a divesting someone in the military space and reinvesting in public education/housing/healthcare, because I believe the ROI is greater in those 3, but that’s another conversation.
But free healthcare isn’t a right. -
That fucking constitution.
Always getting in the way of the feels.

No I'd argue that I'm quite leftist when it comes to healthcare. I absolutely want it to be divorced from employment. But the worries are kinda overblown. Like there is no competent employer that doesn't offer free for single people and then pay the difference for familyTheKobeStopper said:

However we have been making healthcare policy for 60 years to help the poor and its more expensive and shittier than ever for everyone
Sounds like we should move on from the leftist model and make healthcare great again -
"I WOULD be in favor of a divesting someone in the military space and reinvesting in public education/housing/healthcare, because I believe the ROI is greater in those 3, but that’s another conversation."
The actual ROI on public education and housing is negative. At best, the federal control of health care is a break even. Federal control of health care is to deny competition which is the key to better and a cheaper product. What has been the ROI on our response to the chicom crud?
Assuming the dems remain in charge of the US military, I'd seriously defund the traitorous bastards in a heartbeat and pay down the national debt. Germany has three times the national GDP of Russian and yet they expect us to defend the Ukraine from Russia while buying natural gas from Russia. -

Being an absent father is a choice. We shouldn’t be burdened as a society with people who make poor choices. Kids without fathers commit more violent crimes and endanger others. Applying your logic we should let them die because of poor choices they make. Mandated abortions perhaps.TheKobeStopper said:
