Strength and Conditioning Coach
Our #1 issue now that Donovan is no longer calling plays is the severe lack of physicality on the line. We looked like a bunch of kegs on stilts this past season.

What if I told you…

I'm less concerned with how he looks. Look at the Fresno players and players at his previous gigs - what did they like? (Question - not implication of they looked good) I haven't looked into any of these to see why he left (poached vs fired vs swept along in the wake of HC). A lot of these look like steps up.StLouisDawg said:Anyone else concerned this guy has a double chin? I’ve seen bratwurst that looked like they had less bodyfat.

IDGAF if the guy looks like Fetters. As long as he gets our guys bigger, stronger, faster, and playing more physical football, he can look however he wants.
-
Some of you fuckers obsess about the weirdest shit. Ivan looked like a body builder. Socha looked like a power lifter. This guy looks like a schmuck. None of that matters if they know how to design a program and motivate players in the offseason.
-
The more likely a S&C looks like he’s about to say a racial slur the better he is at his job, go axe Urban.
-
I like the hire. UW needed a new voice in this arena. The current players looked soft, that leads me to believe they were unmotivated. The guy has written a book on strength training and is a paid motivational speaker. He's worked in football, baseball and in the olympic sphere with The Chinese Olympic Committee(Roids). His resume is strong and he checks a lot of boxes for me and for a program that has seemed to regress in almost every possible way the last three years. Spring weights followed by fall weights will be a big indicator on what DeBoer wants this program to look like.

Roids? Socha wasn’t doing roids. Roids would be a welcomed addition to the progrum!

Wait what? He was an NFL S&C and then got banished to Germany for a decade?Mad_Son said:

He lived in what was East Berlin searching out old East Berlin Olympic trainers. He wants the ins and outs of effective steroid use. Turn over every rock. 10 years there, the guy is thorough.Neighbor2972 said:

The odder part is NFL Europe and Berlin Thunder folded in 2007. I blame the Fresno official site I copied from.Neighbor2972 said:
