The mellophone is a 2- or 3-valve brass instrument pitched in the key of F, B♭, E♭, or G (as a bugle). It has a conical bore, like that of the euphonium and flugelhorn. The mellophone is used as the middle-voiced brass instrument in marching bands and drum and bugle corps in place of French horns, and can also be used to play French horn parts in concert bands and orchestras.

The only question now is will Jimmy get a hat on the table when it comes down to “shock the world” day….

I'm with the coaches on this one. Not sure why he committed before going on the FSP camp circuit if we wanted to go visit other schools. Its even weirder because he even cancelled a trip to Oregon State to commit. The only other logical explanation is he committed to UW because he thought he wasn't getting any other offers, and if that the case then we were never going to keep him anyways.

I assure you Nabou understood that UW’s offer was meaningful and UW expected a commitment to be equally meaningful. The only things that would cause UW to pull an offer are: 1. Failing HS; 2. Arrest; and 3. Reopening your recruitment.

I wish I could say the same thing for other schools.
I’m guessing number 2, pure speculation. Don’t twist.

Sounds like they’re doing half of the Petersen strategy. They’re playing hardball on visits once dudes commit but not giving the initial pitch that “this commitment is worth something. Don’t commit if you’re not ready.”

Not too well thought out. If they would’ve given that talk to Nabou, I bet we’d end up getting him.

Do you have proof that they aren't having that talk?

Yes, yes I did but starting rumors about a kid is much more entertaining.

What has Huff taught outside of getting dominated on 3rd and short and inability to show up against any top 25 team outside of the P12?

Losing a local kid to a backwater Texas school with male-only cheerleaders is special.

if texas am has the best class in the country... why on earth did they go for a washington state three star oline guy? Unless this guy is actually really good, in which case it sucks to miss out on him.

Scotty Huff going for that kill shot for OL next year.

I never blame the kids for choosing to be a part of the #1 rated class in the country

A&M might get 9 wins out of this class

Beating Bama and losing to 4 other SEC West teams is special

At least Jimbo will be well paid when he is fired in a couple of years
