I’m starting to think this policy hasn’t been handled in a consistent manner.

Don't hold your breath, he's going to blame Trump for not creating a national mask mandate no doubt.

I’ve been there and it’s real and spectacular. Not a mask in sight.
It’s the Idaho of the south.

Haven’t put on a mask in the gem state since, well, never.

Vaccinations are working though. I mean it’s only 38% that are in the Hospital today.

No, he probably just means that masks should have always been required everywhere and at all times.

    THIS is Texas, fren.

Some acquaintances of mine are moving to Texas. Dragging all of their toys down there. They were saying that they would have to pay 6.5% sales tax on the valuation of all of their owned vehicles and toys before registering them.

The real kicker for me is that they’re buying a house in some dirt water town I’ve never heard of 150 miles East of Dallas for about 2/3 of what my house is assessed at but will pay about a 1/3 MORE in property taxes.

    Fuck Texas.

Shit…Oregon’s had this policy all year long. California just now catching up to their little retarded brother up North.

    Texas:
    No state Income tax;
    Very high property taxes

I laugh when people complain about Texas property taxes. Seen what they are in King County these days? You can buy the same house for half the money as in WA. Take the equity and put it to work and you're earning far more than the couple thousand extra you pay in property taxes each year.

Yeah was gonna say. Like I'm sure everywhere there's something that is out of whack with everything else. But it typically pales in comparison to the major stuff.

Plus property taxes are a joke now that everyone's home doubled in value. Fine. Sell and rent. Still gonna be in business

Oregon with no sales tax sells a boat load of RVs to out of stater's who register the vehicle in Oregon. Sort of like John Kerry's boat. John Kerry who thinks paying taxes is patriotic, just not for himself. I call that the dazzler approach to paying taxes.

You can see the massive amount of retail shopping out by the Portland Airport just off the south end of the Glenn Jackson bridge over the Columbia. Hope all those Washington license plates have owners who voted for Trump and never voted for Chinslee. I hate phucking hypocrites.

I heard the Costco near the airport had the highest $$$$ per basket in the entire chain at one point. Then they built two in Vancouver.

Of all the taxes (at least in the State of Washington), property taxes are the least worrisome.

At least with property taxes, I know the money is getting wasted frivolously at the local level instead of being sent to Nigeria by Jay Chinslee

There's no way you can convince me that anywhere but Gilbert/mesa AZ doesn't have the highest $$$ per basket. Maybe some places in Utah.

Them Mormons stock the fuck up

That Costco was the third one in the world. Pro tip. In Vancouver go to the one in camas. Much less crowded.

Cascade station I have reminded my leftist friends a few times that the state law says they need to remit the sales tax on anything they buy out of state. Of course they never do. Elon Musk though.
