Justin Wilcox has lead Cal a place you can't win at to a respectable 25-27 record but about 20 of those games really could have gone either way so the record is probably closer to 45-7 than 25-27, which would be the best in the conference over that time span.
He was also able to pry away a National Championship coach as OC to run an explosive and innovative offense. He just needed more time to get more of HIS guys in their for the results to really pop. This is evident in the 26-3 drubbing over a GOOD Colorado team.
As far as recruiting goes he is clearly #1 in Berkley. Every other school in that city has not had a fraction of the success he has had. Think of him in Seatlle and UW's resources.... it will be consistent top 5 national classes and will be #1 in the city of Seattle.
As you can see the scoreboard in not indicative of how good Justin Wilcox's teams have been. You can't win at Cal you just can't and he has. -

Following the ironclad “five reasons” rule:

4. The lack of $$$ support at Berkeley, where they only fund rugby and arrogance, has blocked him from realizing a high powered offense via the hiring of Danny Barrett from the Texans.
5. Wilcox is the highest scoring Scrabble word of all of the top candidates, and that seems like something Jen would use to make a decision.
