Put Donte in charge of recruiting however I think Deboner needs to keep him away from coaching.

“There are some upset players,” a source within the program said. “And you have a meaningless game Saturday (vs. Cal). So people are not especially motivated.”

You don't want to see Justin Wilcox when he's mad. You just don't.

That game will be quite the battle of unmotivated players

This is how he shakes down usc for more $$$
I’m guessing his presence down there would create some sort of circus. I don’t think Lincoln Riley will want to keep him around
This. You don’t keep around the interim coach who basically coached a full season, lobbied for the head coaching job & is disgruntled, and who also has strong bonds with lots of the players.

Recruiting is not going to be an issue for Lincoln. So Donte’s not worth the headache.
Perfect time for Riley to establish himself as the biggest dick in town. Get rid of Dante and his little band of fanbois.

    Couple of thoughts:

Since when do players get together and decide whether or not to play a game? Has a refusal by the players ever happened before? Is this not a sign if the fucking times and the generations of lazy, entitled asshole kids being raised?

Lincoln might end up with a tougher reset there than I thought. What a fucking mess. Donte has become a cancer due to the way he seems to divide player loyalty between himself and their very desire to play the sport they ARE being paid to play. He's definitely gone.
