Disagree. The humidity and body armor causes the sweat to flow down your torso, down your legs, and puddle in your boots. You can drink a quart an hour and still get dehydrated. Baghdad is much nicer in then spring.

There's a latent joke in this thread. If I remember right, about 5-6 years ago, a Dawgman CEO tweeted in August that he was golfing in Palm Springs at some fancy country club, and it came off to some as being typical boastfulness from him. So the joke became "August is really the best time of year to go to Palm Springs."
