Lack of firepower at the board, president and AD level guarantees that the guy will be underfunded and will never achieve the level of support needed to attract and keep the staff needed to recruit at the required level to win
This is a good guy coach stepping into a bake sale Betty environment, no fuckingbway he can build a culture at the required level to become a dominant player on the national Stage. This is a 100 million dollar mistake in missed revenue over the next 5 years regardless of how good of a coach he turns out to be. -
I think he'll be successful. He has what is the most important quality for a coach that won't get the best recruits - he makes players better.

He won’t get the quality he needs to be successful, this is now a backwater athletic department so don’t bother with the caps~ I’m guessing that high level difference making OC / DC and build a franchise assistants will avoid this program like the plague… Hope I’m wrong, would love to be wrong, but I doubt it
