He was also able to pry away a National Championship coach as OC to run an explosive and innovative offense. He just needed more time to get more of HIS guys in their for the results to really pop. This is evident in the 26-3 drubbing over a GOOD Colorado team.
As far as recruiting goes he is clearly #1 in Berkley. Every other school in that city has not had a fraction of the success he has had. Think of him in Seatlle and UW's resources.... it will be consistent top 5 national classes and will be #1 in the city of Seattle.
As you can see the scoreboard in not indicative of how good Justin Wilcox's teams have been. You can't win at Cal you just can't and he has.
