I went back and reviewed a lot of video of looting at Union Square and Walnut Creek (Nordstrom’s) and you were correct about the race of almost all of the perpetrators.trublue said:Saw a large number of whites on video involved in the looting and vandalism this weekend in the Bay Area.
Cal Governor’s solution: A statewide Task Force to combat retail theft. -
Imagine you’re responsible for putting this idiot in office. And you’re fine with it.

Just trying to get bread and diapers. Victims of capitalism.

You could repeal the two ballot measures that legalized retail theft and you could start enforcing the laws or you could do the task force.trublue said:

As I’ve said, this along with the homeless situation is a choice. -

It really is a travesty for SF. I’ve had family in Marin Co. for decades. Once loved taking a trip to the BA. Had a great time with the family the last time we were there.SFGbob said:

Toss in Portland and Seattle. Hundreds of businesses gone. 15% vacancy rate in Portland and rising as more businesses reach the end of long-term leases or go broke. Boarded up windows, tents, garbage and human waste. Lloyd Center Mall bankrupt and closing largely because of crime - car thefts, shootings and massive amounts of shoplifting. More rioting downtown on Friday night. Who is taking their family to Pioneer Square to see the "Holiday" Tree lighting? No one. Used to go with some friends, catch the tree lighting then head to Huber's for Spanish coffees. Huber's is Portland oldest restaurant and survived the Spanish Flu but might not survive the chicom crud and antifa/BLM.46XiJCAB said:

The annual tree lighting ceremony, which will be the square’s 37th, will take place on Friday, Nov. 26 at 6 p.m. Instead of an in-person event, the celebration will be virtual this year and broadcast live on KGW in an effort to keep the public safe as the coronavirus pandemic continues. [Great for downtown businesses which was the impetus for the Christmas Tree lighting.]

Yup dealt with it for 5 years while uber driving Down there city is a damn mess... it's nutsSFGbob said:Lets get serious here. Almost all of these crimes are being committed by young blacks and mostly young black males. I don't know the exact number but blacks in the Bay Area make up somewhere less than 10% of the total population. The people committing these crimes are a tiny fraction of that 10%. Most of them already have extensive criminal backgrounds. If you just started arresting these people and putting them in jail for long prison sentences you'd cut the number of these incidents dramatically.
But due to woke racial politics California has stopped enforcing a lot of these property crimes because too many black folks were being sent to jail. They've allowed a criminal element to steal and rob with impunity, open air drug use and drug sales can be found in places all over the city, this shit is a choice, the political leadership has chosen not to enforce the law because it incarcerates too many blacks. That's the truth of this entire matter. Instead of focusing on why most of these crimes are being committed by blacks, the left just stops enforcing the laws.
It's the same mentality that gets rid of advanced placement classes because too few blacks pass the tests. -
