    Neglected is putting it nicely. I prefer abandoned or shunned.

    Huskie fans are willing to pay to watch mediocre football year after year now.

    This should come as no surprise.

    Huskies = Mariners.
    Mariners = Huskies,
    Both make money but are forever "young".
    "I hear the farm system/recruits are great.
    Wait 'till next year, next year. . ."

    Fuck.

    Don't forget the Seahawks who "almost" won something once.. Maybe this year, baring injuries.

    Yes.

    The big difference between the Seahawks and the others is that the Hawks are making forward progress and are committed to putting the best team possible on the field. The others talk a good line but ultimately it doesn't mean much. This is coming from an optimistic kind of guy.

    Only in Seattle does a catcher with a .262 average, 80 HR's and 500 RBI's get elected to the team's hall of fame.

    Seattle is the land of soccer moms and participation trophies. Only two champions from that town, the Huskies and the Sonics and both have long since left the building.

    Money >>>>> neglected tradition and location

    Montlake's location can never be bested by Autism. However, Husky tradition is rumored to be toast. Our once proud history is now the "Golden Age" that anybody can buy with a mediocre future, but Montlake is not for sale........ since becoming the property of Sound Transit.

    Very nice. A little to space shippy for my taste, but nice. I'm sure our new facilities will be great too. And our stadium is better.

    That being said, this will make them even harder to compete with.

    Yea I get being negative but I don't understand it towards the Seahawks. They are moving in the right direction.

    Although most in here thought Carroll would bomb with the Seahawks and he still very well could. He's proving his worth as a head coach and turned a team in turmoil cause of Ruskell into a contender.
